Our staff have a right to be safe in their work environment. Any threats to staff
will be taken seriously.
You should note that correspondence between both parties is saved and the content
of any inappropriate response may be submitted in evidence against you in court.
We wish to point out that it is an offence under Section 1 of the Malicious Communications
Act 1988 to send a letter or other article which conveys a message which is indecent,
grossly offensive or a threat.
You are advised that all calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
Staff are here to assist you with your queries, but they do not have to tolerate
abuse or bad language and are within their rights to terminate any calls of this
nature. Any indecent, offensive or threatening calls will be passed to the police.
