Civil Recovery Answers its Critics
Since the publication of a report on civil recovery by the Citizen’s Advice Bureau
CAB on 9th December 2009, there has been wide speculation, criticism and suspicion
over the concept of civil recovery, on various internet forums, particularly regarding
the retail trade and for low value shoplifters.
The advice pages on our website for those who have received a letter of claim, answer
